"Pearl" for graduates of orphanages who find themselves in a difficult life situation
Having left the walls of orphanages, girls are often not ready for an independent life. Everything was clear in the orphanage: the regime, friends, educators and teachers. Every day is like the previous one and there is no opportunity to take the initiative. In adulthood, with no support from the outside, a graduate needs to get an education, get a job, learn how to solve everyday issues, while not succumb to temptation, but try to build a full-fledged relationship. Unfortunately, without the support of loved ones, not every girl goes through this difficult period of formation. Someone spends all the money that was accumulated during their stay in an orphanage, someone loses their job, many give birth to children and do not understand how to live on.
The program “Pearl” includes depressed, insecure women with young children who need the help of a psychologist, lawyer, social worker and also, simple human participation. The program accords to the “Pyramid of Life” model of comprehensive personal development and assumes a consistent solution to family problems: from filling basic needs to self-actualization.
Every year 35 and more families (80 and more children) take part in the program and for all the years of work in the practice of "Harbor" there has not been a single case of repeated orphanhood - when a mother, having gained experience of living in an orphanage, transfers her child to an orphanage ...
